Welcome to the first ever TerraTrike Film Festival, where one lucky aspiring director could win $1500 towards the purchase of a new TerraTrike or accessories. Got an idea for a short documentary featuring trikes? How about an outrageous publicity stunt featuring TerraTrike? Maybe even a wierd/funny film featuring a dancing taco? - Works for us!
We will accept submissions from June 1, 2010 to June 30th and will then vote on the entries. The winner will be awarded a $1500 gift certificate that can be used towards anything in the TerraTrike catalog. This way, all you that already have a trike can also participate and use the prize towards that cool new Pannier Set or BOB trailer! Heck, get em both, and a Rover for the spouse!
Here are the rules and what we are looking for:
All entries MUST contain the TeraTrike Logo somewhere in the film
Entries should be 2-10 minutes long
Entries should contain a trike. Any brand, but preferably a TerraTrike. This not mandatory. If you want to film yourself just tatooing our logo on your forehead, that's fine. Or if you want to do a synchronized triking performance that contains many different brands of trikes, that's fine also. However, films containing TerraTrikes will carry more weight than those without.
The funnier, more creative, daring and original the better.
Production values will count heavily!
Keep it legal.
All films must be uploaded to YouTube and tagged as "2010 TerraTrike Film Festival" - Then send us an email with the link to the video to FilmFest@TerraTrike.com. We'll then add it to our YouTube Channel.
DO NOT call us with your ideas, advice, comments or questions. We can't tie up our sales guy's phone lines talking about videos of gorillas on drums- got it?
Our decisions are final - hey, we're running this!
We're going to use your name and film in some blatant marketing on our website - deal with it - you're getting free stuff!
Here are some ideas to get the "juices flowing":
Publicity stunt - Maybe running across the 50 yard line at the college football game with the TerraTrike logo painted on your body. (We're not really advocating you do this, especially since it will be awful difficult to find a college football game in the middle of June - but you get the idea.)
