TerraTrike Announces New Universal Trike Carrier

TerraTrike has released the new Universal Trike Carrier (UTC). Consisting of three durable foam mounts and two adjustable straps in a convenient carrying bag, it allows any trike owner (TerraTrike or otherwise) to carry their trike on the roof of any four-door vehicle safely and easily.
“One of the most common questions we and our dealers get from customers is ‘How do I get my trike home?’ We developed the Universal Trike Carrier to be the perfect solution for someone who wants a less expensive option to carry their trike home, get it to nearby trails, or bring it into a local shop for maintenance,” said Marketing Director Jeff Yonker. “This system could be used for longer distance transportation, but is really intended as a simple solution that’s more cost efficient than a permanent rack or mount for going short distances.”
Users of the UTC simply place the foam mounts onto the bottom of their trikes wheels, load the trike onto the roof of their vehicle, and strap the trike down using the straps that run through the back and front doors of the car. The trike can also be strapped down to a roof rack instead of through the doors. The form-fitting, high-density foam will leave no scratches on the vehicle (if clean) and pads on the straps cushion the trike frame from wear marks.
