Ramble on

The Rambler is as versatile as it is stylish! Featuring the same high seat and straight-forward frame geometry as the Rover, but with many upgrades for riders who want to go faster and farther. The Rambler has a sleek Y-frame design which improves the handling and stability. The single-piece round chro-moly steel frame provides a smooth and nimble ride, and it responds beautifully through corners. The Rambler is available in three different component levels and has a breathable seat mesh fitted across a lightweight aluminum seat frame. With standard disc brakes and full seat adjustability, the Rambler is a quality machine for casual and serious riders alike. The frame is available in Tangerine Orange or Arctic White finish (x30 level only). Maybe the best feature of the Rambler is simply the feel of the ride. This trike is designed to do it all without sacrificing comfort or ease of use. The range of options and component levels available make it the perfect platform to create a trike for your specific needs. The Rambler family of trikes also includes the Rambler All Terrain, for riders who want to take their adventures off the beaten path, and the Rambler E.V.O., TerraTrike’s electric assist trike.

I got my Rambler in mid-June. Here in Bloomington, IN, we have a park called the B-Line Trail that is an old railroad bed. On south of the B-Line is the Bloomington Rail-Trail, again an old railroad bed. The B-line is 3.1 miles long. When I got my trike a ride on the B-Line was the first thing I did. Being a 60+ year-old grandmother and very out or shape, I started slowly. Now, I’m up to doing the whole B-line from top to bottom and back plus about a mile on the Rail-Trail. I love my Rambler so much that I can’t get the smile off my face when I ride. There are a lot of bikes, walkers, and joggers on the trail. The joggers usually don’t look like there have a good time at all! One day last week, one of them called to me as I went by, “You are entirely too happy!”
