A Revolution in Triking

The Rover has introduced more people to trike riding than any other recumbent trike on the market! TerraTrike’s most popular model, the Rover, has built its following by providing excellent reliability and usability, as well as a starting price lower than almost any other trike on the market. The strong frame and high seat position make the Rover perfect for anyone who wants a solid, well built, no-nonsense machine. If you are ready to experience the joy of riding a TerraTrike, the Rover is the perfect entry level choice. The Rover has gone through some noteworthy evolutionary changes! The redesigned ‘Y’ frame gives the rider easier access when getting onto the trike, while the robust Hi-ten steel frame provides a weight capacity of 400 pounds; more than most trikes on the market. Designed to provide a smooth, comfortable and carefree ride, the Rover is available with an 8 speed internal or external drive, as well as the continuously variable NuVinci drive (CVT) for the ultimate carefree riding experience. The Rover also features disc brakes, an easily adjustable seat, and twist grip shifting.

    Great trike – September 5, 2015
Reviewer: Mark O Wiles from Hagerstown, Maryland United States
First off let me start by stating that I didn’t purchase this setup from TerraTrike or one of it’s dealers, I had purchased a Rover in 2011 from a dealer and had it equipped with the Sturmey-Archer 8 speed that at the time they were using and laced to a 26″rim. I rode that configuration until spring of this year when I decided to purchase a Nuvinci 360 and again use a 26″ rim. This setup, along with a Patterson Metropolis has turned a great trike into a fantastic trike and these two components together really compliment one another, but the Nuvinci on it’s own is a very good gearing option. Now while I can’t honestly say how it works with a 20″ wheel configuration I can say I love it on my trike
