Another year, and more growth. It’s becoming fairly routine at TerraTrike, the manufacturer of recumbent bikes based in Grand Rapids.
At our annual dealer day, we like to share our sales numbers to get them pumped up,” says Jeff Yonker, marketing director at TerraTrike. “We had predicted we would be at around 16-18 percent growth. Instead, we ended up at 43 percent. For this current year, we could hit over 50 percent.”
To accommodate this growth, the firm recently moved to a new, state-of-the-art, 14,000-square-foot facility at 4460 40th St. in Grand Rapids. The new facility features a 6,000-square-foot warehouse, a larger showroom, additional offices, a photography studio and a prototype lab.
