TerraTrike Announces New Rover 3 & 8 Nexus, Wider Handlebars

TerraTrike announced the release of three new products to add variation and options to their current line of trike models. The Rover model is now available to order with a 3 speed or 8 speed Shimano Nexus internal hub, and a new wider handlebar option is available for Rovers and Ramblers.

With the Shimano Nexus hub, users will enjoy the world-renowned engineering that Shimano is famous for. The Nexus hubs are able to be shifted while pedaling, and feature crisp shifting action and response. The original Rover 8’s and Rover 3’s utilize the Sturmey-Archer hubs, and will continue to be offered alongside the new Nexus option. The Rover 3 Nexus retailing for $999 and the Rover 8 Nexus retailing for $1199 are now available for purchase.

The new wide handlebar option is made especially for the Rover for the comfort and enjoyment of riders of all kinds. These handlebars add 2.5 inches on either side of the trike’s cockpit area compared to the standard set up. The handlebars are compatible with the Rambler, and are available as an option for the Rover or Rambler for an additional $59.95.

“We’re really excited to offer these new products because they came, like most of our new items or changes, directly from feedback we’ve received from customers and dealers alike,” said Wayne Oom, co-owner and CFO of TerraTrike. “The Shimano Nexus hubs and the wider handlebars help us offer greater flexibility to our customers than ever before.”
